Prior to use, sterilize the tools by soaking a cotton ball in the rubbing alcohol and wiping the tip. Wash your face thoroughly with warm water and gentle soap. If you have particularly clogged pores, steaming your face for 10-15 minutes, or holding a warm, wet (not hot) washcloth on your face to open your pores will make extractions easier. Do not continue to attempt extraction if sebum is not released easily. Be sure to clean all implements after use as well, to avoid infection.
